Tarangire is a 2,600km² sanctuary renowned for its dense wildlife concentrations. It hosts one of Africa's largest elephant populations, with herds reaching 300 individuals, alongside lions, leopards, cheetahs, and over 545 bird species. Its ancient baobab trees — some over 600 years old — are iconic symbols of the African savanna.
